This message appeared on a poster designed by students from Muskoka:
“Everyone who supported slavery was free.
Everyone who supports abortion was born.
That’s how oppression works.
They’re not really people.
We’ve heard that before.
Respect human life.”
A message that might cause others to reflect on the lessons of history and the value, dignity and respect owed to human life from the moment of conception.
History teaches us that discrimination and injustice occur when one group of individuals will not recognize another as persons and therefore as equals possessing the same human rights.
